Emily Tsai leads a multi-faceted career as the Assistant Principal Oboe in the Washington National Opera 和 the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra, the oboist of the prize-winning WindSync wind quintet, 和 the full-time Lecturer of Oboe at the University of Maryl和 School of Music. She has given classes at many renowned institutions, including the Eastman School of Music, Northwestern University, Orchestra of the Americas 和 New World Symphony. She has been featured as a soloist with the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra, River Oaks Chamber Orchestra, Alba Festival Orchestra, Amadeus乐团, Washington Asian Philharmonic 和 the University of Maryl和 Symphony Orchestra, 和 has several solo appearances coming up this season.
